The sunflower experiment is off to a good start. Some here growing alongside some birdsfoot trefoil. We threw a half sack of seed around in front of the cows. If this works I might do this over a few hectares to add some summer feed to the farm, maybe with corn, sorghum etc.

Early summer and this field is all birdsfoot trefoil. The native plants here are nice. Somewhere in here are a few sunflowers we threw about.
