I was honored to see Dr. Putnam at the state board meeting this morning! I received recognition as one of three state finalists for 2018. Our school system was well represented.

These AMAZING ladies are the other state finalists for the Presidential Award of Excellence in Mathematics and Science Teaching for 2018! They are both well deserving of this honor.

My wonderful principal, Lora Austin, came to the Burroughs Wellcome Fund awards recognition & reception this afternoon. She has shown great suppprt of my endeavors and says she is glad that she “stole” me. 😂 How fortunate I am to positively impact the lives of middle schoolers.
