Fishing the Lonestar Throwdown this weekend on Lake Belton. Wish me luck. I don't typically fish lakes with clear water, rock cliffs, and very little vegetation here in East Texas, so hoping something transfers.

For those of you who video your kayak fishing trips, I'm asking for some starter things for Christmas. I need some suggestions for affordable tools (camera poles, batteries, cameras, etc) and any suggestions you have for set up. Ready, set, go!

It was our first Christmas as empty nester. Rather than be gloomy at home alone, we opted to fly Southwest Airlines to New Orleans. Mistake! Over an hour just to "drop off" bags at DAL. Then return flight was cancelled. Had to rent a car and drive ~12hrs so we could see our boys. Bad!

Anyone have experience with Tactacam Fishi camera versus GoPro? I've never used a camera in the Yak so I'm gonna be very basic. At this point, I'm not planning on starting a YouTube channel or anything (unless people want to learn everything to do to NOT catch fish.)

Anybody interested in kayak fishing Fork any weekend in Feb? I've got a place at Lake Fork Marina if your not local and need a place to stay. Looking to continue learning as well as just having some kayak camaraderie on the water.
