The Schooner Vega was built in Viken, Sweden, 1909 as a freight sail ship. First as a pure sailing vessel, until 1932 and later with engine assistance, she was working in the Baltic Sea until 1966. She was then taken to Stockholm and ended up by sinking as a wreck in 1985.

Grecian was an American schooner launched in 1812. During the War of 1812 she received a letter of marque. The Royal Navy captured her on 5 February 1814 and took her into service as HMS Grecian. She was sold in 1822. In 1823 she became a merchantman. #agesoofsail #hobbykit

The Acute Class was a group of 15 brig-rigged gunboats designed by Sir John Henslow, of which 11 were built in Kent shipyards. Adder was ordered on 7/02/1797 and launched on 22/04/1797. In 1798 Adder was lengthened in 1798 to 97 feet along the deck. #agesofsail #hobbykit
