After discussions we had with Food and Agriculture Organization representatives on the TAPE Agroecology evaluation tool, we mobilized Food Justice Network partners for a field based trial on using the tool, introduced it to one household and shared it Chipo Chase group of schools. The tool is just amazing!

Zimbabwe dedicates the 1st Saturday of December to planting trees. The day also falls within the global 16 Days of Activism, which are dedicated to ending all forms of gender-based violence. As GKP, we observe the day to planting trees as a symbol of our commitment to end GBV🌱🌳

Simply put. Restoring forests, planting more trees, sparking community initiative and planting more trees works. We are shifting from bulk advocacy to bulk actions in our programming this year to focus on data driven, actionable and tangible interventions.
