Last week, our post-secondary AYEP student Patricia Ensah, facilitated a new ongoing series called SISTER CIRCLE. Her session called “The Sister Spot” brought together 23 young women in our AYEP program in a safe space to discuss topics relevant to their experiences.

We cleared 50 bags of trash during our annual Earth Day neighborhood cleanup last month! 🌍Thank you to our 23 youth volunteers for stepping up to maintain the health and beauty of Southwest Philly!

That’s a wrap on our Annual NE Health Screening Day! 🙌🏿 We welcomed over 100 community members who took charge of their health through free screenings and education — from blood pressure, glucose, STIs, Hep B, and vision to colon cancer mental health, and mammograms.

Our Adult Education Team attended the 2025 Spring Institute for Adult Education! Our very own ESL Teacher Jeanine gave a presentation titled ‘Empowering Immigrant & Refugee Learners: A Replicable ESL Health Literacy Model to Improve Healthcare Access.’
