There were many stories that she could remember being told about the shadowy organization. To be one of the few who knew which were truths and which were lies was an interesting thing for her. “Hmm...Let’s just say the stories do have some merit to them.”

“That is true yes. As barbaric as it might seem on the surface there’s a deeper reasoning to why they do it. It’s not just for show or to be spiteful.”

The brunette flashed her best imitation of an innocent smile to her older sister, knowing full well that they both knew she was the furthest thing from it. “You could, but I think you already know the answer to that question.”

From a certain standpoint she could see how bad she must look to her older sister, but it was all for a greater cause. “Believe it or not your little sister isn’t a killer. I only joined to better my ability to defend myself, and those I care about, with deadly efficiency.”

Immediately a brow rose up in confusion. The last thing she expected from the blonde was for her to be okay, much less glad, about her actions. “You’re glad... Are you okay, Sansa?”

“I figured as much. Lucky for you I’m not as wild as I used to be, so you don’t have to worry about me.” There were a few exceptions, but they were ones that any reasonable person could agree with.

A soft chuckle escaped her lips. Reminiscing the dark days of her training made the brunette glad that she left when she did. “Cults aren’t exactly my thing; too many rules and regulations for my liking. I prefer being able to mostly do whatever I want whenever I want.”

“I know. I still prefer to do many things by myself, but it’s good to know that you and the rest of the family are there to back me up. As a Stark I will do the same in return for all of you.”

“As long as you remember that I have yours; even through the times when we can’t be bothered to be in each other’s presence — and you won’t get this out of me a second time.”

Public displays of emotion were not her strong suit; but the brunette felt a need to show her sincerity. Suddenly she was wrapping her arms around her older sister’s waist; unveiling a small smile as she did so. “This will be swept under the rug as well I hope.”
