In education research/experiments, if the control group does not receive any intervention (or receive only placebo), the contribution is limited to "learning can occur". It does not say anything on how to teach. #MedEd Reference: 10.1007/s10459-008-9117-3 in Advances in Health Sciences Education

I'm working with some new & long-standing friends thinking about blind spots in #meded #hpe This article has helped me think more deeply about those absences. Many thanks to these authors & Advances in Health Sciences Education for pushing our thinking about the things we don't attend to

Word count limits is 1 factor that differentiates #MedEd journals from others. In particular, articles published in meded Js tend to be MUCH shorter than, eg, articles published in general #education #research Js. Of course, there r exceptions: Advances in Health Sciences Education has no word limits.

Congratulations to our #HMIVirtual Faculty @MPusic & Matt Lineberry & colleagues including including Ilan Reinstein, Jennifer Hill, & David A. Cook for their new Advances in Health Sciences Education paper! #MedEd #MedTwitter #HMIVirtual Brigham Education Institute bit.ly/3dTIgCi
