NEW: In response to exploitation by Uber & Lyft, drivers in NYC are forming a worker-owned rideshare cooperative called The Drivers Cooperative. The new app offers cheaper rides and returns all profits to the drivers. It could defeat Uber & Lyft with New Yorkers’ support.
