Phoenix police are investigating an Officer Involved Shooting in the area of 50th St and McDowell Rd. The suspect is down. No officers have been injured. There is no threat to those in the area. No one else is being sought. PIO is responding to scene.

PIO is responding to a fatal collision in the area of 35th Ave and Thunderbird Rd. where an Officer transporting a prisoner were struck by a vehicle. The driver of that vehicle sustained fatal injuries. The officer and prisoner were taken to a local hospital for precaution.
