By 50, everyone has some level of tau in the locus coeruleus & by 60 we can see amyloid. "If we want to detect AD earlier, we may have to look at the locus coeruleus in the brain stem." Developing imaging to visual this small and deep part of the brain as a marker of AD #ADRF2024
