Bletchley Park Scottish Centre - War Studies/Conflict Archaeology Newbattle Abbey College at Dalkeith was a military base during #WW2. By October 1939 both the ATS and RAMC were using the college, grounds, and an extensive network of huts as a training base. Recruits spent 3-6 weeks onsite before being deployed to onward wartime roles.

Another fascinating piece of history in Jobs North Ayrshire, the Haylie Neolithic Tomb in Largs. Older than Stonehenge, the significance was recognised years ago but getting verification & clearing area to protect it has taken a while. Many thanks to all involved! 👏👏
