grief is so annoying because what do you mean i’m sobbing at 4:30 a.m. because my brother won’t be here to text me happy birthday at midnight on my birthday anymore 🥺😭

finding out my mom has pancreatic cancer three weeks after my brother died is so fucked up like what do you mean i can’t talk to my big brother about this. i’ve gone to call and text him so many times today. 💔

so the only good thing i’ve found out of grief is now instead of my brain cycling through thoughts of, “hey what if we got anxious” now i just think, “mom is dead” on a loop so

sometimes i’m fine and then sometimes i remember that my mom and brother died within the last six months and it’s like a knife is stabbed in my chest all over again

posting about having a joint funeral for my mom and brother is so dystopian, like this timeline that we’re on doesn’t feel real and how did i lose both of them within the last 6.5 months. i hate this.
