113 days, nearly 4 months since LAUTECH medical students last had any academic activity. It is obvious that Ibadan has to intervene in this quagmire. Oyo State Government and , pls do something since it's abundantly clear Ladoke Akintola University of Technology has chosen to b unconcerned
Day 114 of the strike by LAUTECH's medical lecturers, with students being the worst hit. Too much lost time and a grave worry about the lasting impact of this strike. If these students matter, someone should intervene. Pls Ladoke Akintola University of Technology Oyo State Government Olamijuwonlo Alao Akala, MHR
Day 115 of the strike by medical lecturers. Ladoke Akintola University of Technology seems to think that students should be satisfied with no promise of when academic activities will resume. Oyo State Government and Seyi Makinde, how long will these students have to wait? Fikayo Benson Dr Babatunde Oiwoh Sebastine
I spoke to a student yesterday and he told me that they (LAUTECH medical students) are already making peace with the fact that resumption may not be till January 2026, by which time it will be at least 5 months of strike (for some, more). Can't even say hw I feel😢 Seyi Makinde
Ladoke Akintola University of Technology aren’t you even ashamed? “Best state university in the country” but your medical school has been shut down for four months and you’re not doing anything about it. Not a single post on the school’s pages. Your radio silence is deafening. It’s infuriating.
A landmark attained in the wrong direction is a landmine. We're walking a dangerous path. 4 months spent outside the classroom for students meant to be in school because the school Ladoke Akintola University of Technology and State Oyo State Government won't do the needful is shameful at best.
We just want to resume lectures and be under better learning conditions 😭 Seeing students in other departments going for lectures while Lautech Medical students are being locked out of class is really heartbreaking 💔😭😭 We plead with you Oyo State Government Feedback SAVE US🙏
