I often hear product management mainly is about shareholder management and facilitation. To me it's all about taste. A truly great PM has excellent product taste, vision and the ability to make it reality.

This. As of November/December, I can’t get my PG&E bill below $500/mo. Lower usage isn’t translating to lower bills. Doesn’t help that it’s been unusually cold this season. It feels like PG&E is scamming us. Infuriating.

Apple should release an emoji that’s identical to Twitter’s blue checkmark so every Twitter user can just add it to their display name. Just to fuck with Elmo.

In honor of Oppenheimer being released, here is a moody post-rock song I wrote 11 years ago where I sampled J. Robert Oppenheimer reflecting on his creation. Still proud of this one. soundcloud.com/adambutler/unt… #Oppenheimer

i've always loved this take which I think is very true and results in the best products but ironically AI seems to be the opposite of this, where most are starting with the technology and then trying to figure out how to apply and sell it

Hot take: AI shouldn’t need a symbol at all. AI is the tech. It’s not the what, it’s the how. Why do we feel the need to highlight the tech? Feels very self-interested as tech workers and not necessarily user-centered.
