A great video from Siteimprove explaining what's coming with WCAG 2.2 with plenty of real-world examples: videos.siteimprove.com/en/watch/Yv4a4… #a11y

Most of the time when I see a company innovating / changing something I say, "Pshhh, that's a gimmick." But this laptop does look really cool and useful: youtube.com/watch?v=Ep6HhI… Stick around until at least 1:30 to get the picture 😮🤯.

Whenever I remediate a PDF for accessibility, I feel like I am a web developer living in 1997, searching random forum posts for how to fix the most esoteric accessibility errors. 💩 Hopefully PDF accessibility will be more mature (or not a thing) in 2040.

With most of the new CSS stuff coming out, I’m like, "Sure, cool. 🤷‍♂️" But, `text-wrap: balance;` is *legit*—it’s something that we've secretly wanted on the web but never knew it could be implemented.

Modern Font Stacks is a website showcasing several different system font stacks. One cool feature: they underline the “currently in use” and “currently available” fonts on the device you’re using. That’s a nice touch. modernfontstacks.com

Looks like setHTML() may replace innerHTML, but have built in XSS sanitization. APIs like this are simultaneously 1) awesome and 2) “why did it take this long?” Very cool! developer.mozilla.org/en-US/docs/Web…
