Kids playing toddler music in the background. I walk up to my wife & give her a hug in the kitchen. We embrace & then start to sway back and forth. Wife: Are we slow dancing to “Do You Know the Muffin Man?” Me: Yep. This is our life. Wife: It’s nice.

Lady walks into a hospital employee only elevator @ 8:10am. Looks at the buttons. Shakes her head in disappointment & then deeply sighs. Looks at me & says, “No button that says home”. She walks out before the door even closes, back into her day & i’ve found a new work hero.

If you’ve lost faith in humanity, our 7yo told her 1st grade teacher “ it’s my Mom & Dad’s wedding anniversary today”, so I just received a phone call from a class full of 1st graders gloriously singing Happy Anniversary at full volume ❤️❤️

When I walked into our kid’s preschool classroom tonight, an overhead page rang out, “code blue playground”. No one stirred, no alarms. Front desk admin strolled down the hall with an ice pack in hand. It was a knee ouchie. And blue, bc well, the ice pack was blue #PickANewColor
