The 2nd chapter of Dr. Soyoung Elizabeth Jeon's thesis is published! She furthered what we now know about genetics of childhood leukemia in her 1st chapter, assessed what we could do to predict the future in this study. Now we just need something about the past to complete the trilogy!
Check out our new paper in Human Genetics and Genomics Advances “Evaluating Genomic #Polygenic Risk Scores for Childhood Acute Lymphoblastic #Leukemia in Latinos” led by Soyoung Elizabeth Jeon and Charleston Chiang
Congratulations to Dr. Adam de Smith who received a $600,000 grant from The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society to identify children with the highest risk of developing acute lymphoblastic #leukemia and lay the groundwork towards newborn screening of preleukemia and potential disease prevention.
