It was great to see Community Action deliver two excellent assemblies today promoting Children in Need. We look forward to seeing everyone in non-uniform tomorrow (Friday) with their £2 donations. On Monday lunch we also have a Ninja Warrior fundraiser (Old Gym) for the cause

Another outstanding response for this year’s Easter Egg Appeal. The Community Action group had the pleasure of delivering over 200 Easter Eggs to the NSPCC Service Centre this afternoon, to support local disadvantaged children and young people. Thanks to all who made donations 👍

Great to see our new cricket nets installed at Valley Road. Thanks to Exclusive Leisure for their excellent work. Our U13 and U14 cricketers have enjoyed using it today for their first outdoor session! 🏏 👍 💪

First Foodbank delivery made yesterday to the excellent and very grateful volunteer staff at Bestwood & Bulwell Foodbank at St Philip’s Church in Top Valley. Thanks to all who have donated so far. Next week’s delivery is to Arnold Foodbank. Please keep the donations coming in.

NSPCC Easter Egg Appeal 2018. We welcome donations of Easter Eggs for the children and young people who rely on the local NSPCC Service Centre. Donations should be in date, in original unopened packaging. Please deliver to the Library by 23 March, ready for delivery on 26 March.

It is great to see that our collections and donations to local Foodbanks is making a real difference for the people of Nottingham. Our next Foodbank collection will be at the end of the summer term, when the Foodbank staff tell us that their shelves tend to be near empty

The next Community Action (CA) meeting is on Monday 30 April 16.00-17.00 in the Small Lecture Theatre (SLT). All CA members from Year 9 and 10 are expected to attend this meeting to plan ahead for the remainder of the summer term, including Activities Day on Thursday 28 June.

A great time had at Valley Road this afternoon with our Under 13 cricket team enjoying a friendly fixture in the sunshine against the local MCC Foundation Hub (a squad of cricketers from local state schools that we provide coaching for as part of our cricket outreach programme)

Our MCC Foundation Hub U13 team enjoyed a great day out to the Cambridge Hub Festival today, defeating Colchester and City of Cambridge along the way. A total of 8 different Nottingham city schools were represented proudly by these boys today 🏏🏏👏👏
