Is it ok that if you have worked all day and you are meant to be non resident on call overnight and the SHO is off then the escalation plan is apparently you have to do 24 hr resident on call? Asking for a friend… 🥺 I appreciate ‘emergency cover’ ‘needs must’ but 🫠 #broken

All those saying the BMA is unreasonable demanding FULL pay restoration said NOTHING when it was taken away from us, even while they were banging pots and pans. During COVID, your pay was cut by the equivalent of a MONTH’S salary in a single year. Strike hard tomorrow. 💪🏼

Today on BBC Breakfast: a woman waiting for 2 years for a shoulder replacement "cancelled because of the #DoctorsStrike" Our strike action started in March this year. What caused the delays ahead of our strikes? 🤔 Understaffing. #PayRestoration is for patients as well as drs.

How to make Drs feel respected? Tell them where to work with little to no choice. Inform them that they cover more than 1 site as part of their on-call work then refuse to give them a parking permit even though they 'qualify on distance'. #BROKEN

Busy day. I had breakfast at 1500. Lunch at 1900. My phone and smartwatch haven’t stopped so my watch battery has died. On call overnight and while continuing to work I’m to be revising for a life changing exam. #surgicaltraining
