Yesterday some students of the #BDBI ESCI-UPF visited the MareNostrum supercomputer. I was happy to see my old friend Karnak (SiliconGraphics Origin 2000), where I ran my first calculations. It was only 34400 times slower than MareNostrum4. #bioinformatics
