My 15 year old missed flight to camp today because check in at americanair took over 1.5 hours. Had to spend $50 on gas to fly drive to CLT because American couldn’t get her on a flight from RDU, and then paid $30 to check a bag that was supposed to be free. Awful.

This decision doesn’t just mean that some women will wind poorer, sicker, or dead, although it certainly does mean that. It means that women as a class are consigned to a lesser status, broadly understood, pregnant or not, to be categorically subjugated to male authority.
