Had a lovely time at the British Library and especially in the gift shop. Could have bought SO MANY BOOKS. Also felt Helen O'Hara would appreciate the Christmas decorations eg Edgar Allen Poe with a sparkly raven?

So many houses have Christmas lights/trees up already and I don’t know how to feel about them being before me. I’m usually defending going early (ie before December) but mine won’t go up until next weekend…
