There's another problem unconsciously hidden in the illustration. Notice the American is wearing a t-shirt and trainers, and the European is wearing a suit. (Obviously it's not the clothes per se so much as the extra formality they represent.)

RE: the agent/workflow debate Agents and workflows are a spectrum. A system can be more or less 'agentic'. A pure 'agent' is too volatile to be sent to production - you need a bit of determinism to rein it in.

JSON is token‑expensive for LLMs – just like Matt Pocock frequently mentions. Meet TOON, the Token‑Oriented Object Notation. 💸 40–60% fewer tokens than JSON 📐 readable & tokenizer-aware Wrap your JSON with `encode` to save half the token cost: github.com/johannschoppli…

Love these kinds of innovation. Johann Schopplich - would love to know if there are any drop of performance or accuracy of retrieval in toon vs. json

We entered YC with $16K MRR. 100% bootstrapped. Today, we’re at $75K MRR, a 4.7× increase in just 6 weeks ( and $1.1M in annualized run rate) and on track to double before the end of the year. It’s been wild watching Parrot evolve from a scrappy experiment into a product

Last night's sneak peak from inside Y Combinator Note - YC founders are days away from Demo Day. The internets are about to start their quarterly complaints about YC valuations, founders that move too fast, inflated ARR numbers, etc. I thought I would share what it's like

Yes, because you should seriously consider the opinion of someone who spent most of its capital for a domain name to promote a physical AI slop machine

Very excited to partner with the Nexus team on their seed round. Assem and Shady built an incredibly impressive Enterprise AI deployment platform that counts Orange Group, Proximus Global, Lambda and many others as customers. thenextweb.com/news/nexus-4-3…

I love how these x influencer keep talking about the fact that this is a new paradigm but nobody can explain clearly how this is different from a RAG
