Day 2 of our 8th annual International Food Security Symposium brings us several great presentations focused on the domestic scene of “food systems for humans and wildlife” resulting in many questions and true engagement. College of ACES NRES at Illinois Prairie Research Institute

Carter, Distinguished Professor of Agricultural & Resource Economics at UC Davis for an informative lecture about how index insurance could help low-wealth households manage shocks.



Good news🎉 Soybean Innovation Lab received $1M & a year's reprieve via Founders Pledge. USAID's shutdown nearly ended 12 years of African soybean progress. Federal funding is needed to fully restore the project, but we're grateful to continue this critical work. aces.illinois.edu/news/1m-gift-k…

The College of ACES FSHN at Illinois Hospitality Management Program was honored to host a group of leaders from Kazakhstan’s polytechnic universities as part of a program on innovations and progress in vocational education training coordinated by @Illinois_Intl



We are honored to be the U.S. implementing partner on this project for the 3rd year & to be hosted by Colorado Department of Agriculture today - they also gave a shout out to the STAR conservation tool developed in IL during their presentation
