Today is Sol 6869 for the #Mars Odyssey mission - #NASA's longest-lasting spacecraft at the Red Planet. #OTD in 2001, Mars Odyssey began its science mapping mission. Controlled from NASA JPL, Odyssey operates in a two-hour long polar orbit inclined 93.0° and 250 miles above Mars.

UPDATE: Signals received from #NASA #IngenuityHelicopter on Mars Saturday (6:30 p.m. ET), show the helicopter and its base station "are operating as expected", according to NASA JPL. The rotor craft is expected to make its first flight NET mid-March over an area of #JezeroCrater.

#NASA Video: The Northrop Grumman #CygnusNG15 resupply craft arrived at the International International Space Station today, loaded with 8K pounds of supplies and hardware. Christened the #SSKatherineJohnson, capture was at 4:38 a.m. EST, and berthed to the Unity module at 7:16 a.m.
