Adoption of rehabilitative and gender-sensitive approaches to prison management is integral in enhancing rule of law & integrity in the administration of criminal justice. We delivered ICT equipment to Sidama Prison Commissions and the #SNNP Regional States in #Ethiopia.

During the event, UN Office on Drugs & Crime also delivered copies of the #NelsonMandella Rules, 👉t.ly/D1Zif and held fruitful discussions with the Commissioners and their senior staff on the ongoing and future cooperation on prison reform in the regions.

UNODC organized a forum for the private sector in #Ethiopia on #BusinessIntegrity and #CorruptionRiskAssessment where participants expressed commitment to participate in a capacity-building program intended to create internal capacity to address corruption in the private sector.

UN Office on Drugs & Crime_EA held a training on ethics and compliance for private sector companies representative in Addis Ababa , Ethiopia 🇪🇹. Basic concepts of business integrity, corruption risk assessment and the @UNODC Corruption Risk Assessment Tool were discussed during the training #SDG16

@UNODC_EA and UNIDO gave 40 TVET interns (26 female) an orientation at Yirgalem AgrI-Industry Parks🇪🇹, placing them into 4 fruit and vegetable processing firms. The hands-on placement builds skills, opens job doors and strengthens gender-safe workplaces in line with #SDG5 #SDG8
