She outlined an amazing opportunity to go on a 2 week, funded trip to Nepal and the launch of the Go Global club FutureSense Foundation Challenges Abroad St. Peter’s Sustainability & Go Global Turing Scheme UK Mr Clinton

Thursday was a very big day! We were honoured to have Mr Andy Street, Mayor of the West Midlands, visit us.Lots of opportunities for students to ask insightful questions about our city and it’s it future and inspirational words about how our students should strive for their best!

Thank you to staff and Yr 12 students from ⁦Bishop Challoner Catholic College⁩ and ⁦St Thomas Aquinas School- Outstanding School⁩ for coming over to work with our students today. We spent the afternoon learning more about our Cambodian adventure and thinking about how we might plan to teach pupils English ⁦👍🏻

All five Catholic schools have met this morning to evaluate the amazing opportunity that was given to us by Challenges Abroad and Turing Scheme UK. 72 lucky students from across the West Midlands visited Nepal and Cambodia to promote Global Citizenship

Thank you University of Liverpool for a fantastic open day. 8 Year 13s sampled an array of lectures, tours and drop in sessions. Students are about to leave this great city and are feeling inspired and excited about the next phase of education.

We also visited Penny Lane, saw the famous Smithdown Road and had a tour of Greenbank Halls of Residence. Our Head of English even found her spiritual home!! Thank you University of Liverpool and all its amazing staff for a brilliant day.

Thank you to Mr Clinton for his brilliant Global Links session tonight all about his experiences of teaching in Japan. It might have been a few years ago but he still has it forgotten the language!

And we are off! The Peru team are now on their way to Heathrow to begin their two week adventure 🇵🇪✈️😊
