Luxon's so-called 'gold standard' live animal exports is gilded cruelty. NZ farmers are calling it out too - see the SPCA media release here...

It blows my mind that RNZ and other NZ media still report the genocide as if it was a war. It is not a war. It NEVER was. It is and always has been a bald-faced highly intentional strategy to utterly demolish Gaza and harm, injure and kill as many Palestinians as possible.

Winter grazing is cruel and polluting. Lifting restrictions is another example of Luxon’s regressive anti-environment ethos.

Lest we forgot, the reason for remembering the senseless horror of war, is to stop it happening again. Ceasefire now. In Palestine. Everywhere.

What else can we feel but revulsion at the evil of the US who meekly say mass Palestinian graves are “troubling” in the Israeli genocide they actively support.

There's no version of mining wetlands for coal that is a pathway to viable life on earth. This Christopher Luxon Government is showing itself more and more each day to be climate-denying radically anti-environmental extractors and destroyers.

This government is REALLY picking a fight, right?

I’m not sure they quite comprehend how much of a fight back they are in for.

Seabed mining, damming rivers, mining conservation land, poisoned drinking water, undermining Te Tiriti and democracy itself. The list goes on.

Once you replace evidence based decision-making with political decision-making on individual projects it is only a matter of time before a developer pays a politician to get a project approved under the fast-track political consenting process.

Forest and Bird concerned over Govt Fast Track bill

'The chief executive of Forest & Bird, Nicola Toki, says three Government ministers will be given unbridled power to approve any development they want, no matter how damaging to the environment.'

Ominous today that Stevenson Mining abandoned their court case on the Te Kuha coal mine on a pristine West Coast mountaintop. the implication is that Christopher Luxon's new fast track laws will bypass democratic process for this and other climate and environment destroying projects.

I was on the AM Show this morning on the PM’s comments on people on welfare. I think those comments suggest a Govt that is losing sight of the human beings at the heart of the welfare system, and isn’t listening to or understanding them. Interview here: newshub.co.nz/home/politics/…

'The International Court of Justice's ruling can be understood as saying: We already ordered Israel not to commit the kind of slaughter that its threatened invasion of Rafah would entail. Now our order needs to be enforced.'

The ball is in your court, member states, US first.
