"Because of its high cost and periodic shortage, the appropriate use of albumin has been a subject of debate for years. Current guidelines recommend albumin for SBP, HRS and LVP. No clear benefit has been demonstrated if used for other cirrhosis-related complications."

"Due to wide availability of access, the prevalence of CHS is increasing. The ultimate treatment of CHS is cessation of cannabis. Current evidence supports using dopamine receptor antagonists (haloperidol or droperidol) +/- capsaicin cream as first-line agents."
