Well, how could the billionaire know she's a thief? And this shitty bar isn't all bad, the drinks are at least half decent.

Perhaps he does, though he is a man of secrets in a sense. He'd even argue some drinks here are better than some of the nicer bars..

To be fair, he isn't like the other rich people in Gotham, he sees more than most. Yes they can be, yet again some drinks aren't as nice, as places like this, if that makes any sense.

Because many of those 'rich assholes' haven't seen what Bruce himself had, what the world is really like, doesn't matter who you are, how much money you have, anything can happen. Most fancy places are just overly expensive for less than good quality drinks.
