My colleague MegaZone wrote a great round-up of what stood out to him the past week in InfoSec; from Tetra to MOVEit! (which I also can't read without hearing _that song_ youtube.com/watch?v=hdcTmp…) bit.ly/3ODoMFI

Do I know any ARM64 Windows developers? Anyone intimately familiar with CHPE x86 emulation on Windows/ARM? I have questions I can't seem to find the answers for that I think ought to have obvious answers..

I know the supermarkets have got their Christmas stuff on the shelves already but cmon SANS Institute, EMEA, it's September .. surely it's too early to start sending emails about sans.org/mlp/holiday-ha… 😂 Kudos for making '21 & '22 available for practice, though! #grinch

A lucky win on eBay picked up - BBC Master 128 with a Phillips CM8833 monitor, 5 1/4" drive and a pile of software.. now to get it cleaned up and de-RIFA'd before they can let out the magic smoke!

Landlord owns a Ferrari and he let me drive it one day. Got a photo of me standing next to it and driving it. Put the photos on my Hinge profile and I got 30 likes in a week from people all out of my league and would never look my way without the Ferrari. I need to get rich.

I've spent months wondering what the occasional, quiet, distant electronic 'chirping' I can hear is.. I thought maybe a distant car, far off house alarm or some industrial thing nearby.. Turns out it's the UPS in my own attic complaining the battery has failed. 🤦‍♂️

Genuine question for any infosec news writers out there (thinking of Davey Winder et al) .. how do you find out about academic papers describing vulnerabilities or vulnerability classes (like SLAP/FLOP etc) before they hit the news, in order to write about them?
