So much of the conversation about asexuality revolves around sex. Do we have sex? Why? Why not? It makes sense but I wish the conversation could move away from that a bit. Whether or not there is sex involved is not the only characteristic of a relationship.

It’s really stressful how many lgbtq people who supposedly “support ace people” harbour harmful views of the community. Saying that ace people exist and that we’re “valid” is less than the bear minimum

I’ve had the same GP for about a year now, and because I have really bad periods he has to ask if I’m sexually active. I always assure the doctor that we don’t need to plan for me ever becoming sexually active. He’s really nice about it but bless him he’s so confused
