When someone who works for you inevitably tests positive you now become a crisis communications manager. Finding ways to ensure both your staff and your guests that somehow you can find a way to keep everyone safe while not compromising anything you still do relatively well.

But I think the worst part about running restaurants during a once in a lifetime deadly pandemic is that it makes me feel like I’m bad at my job. Despite everything I’ve listed I still love what I do and I hate that this makes me feel like everything I do is meaningless.
