Was told to buy attachments for my first rifle. Optimal M16A1? -Low power 4x scope for mid range engagement -Bipod for stability while prone -Bayonet for CQB engagements

I can’t get a proper, lead slinging, M16, but that’s what replicas are for right? Anyways, this is the optimal setup, maybe get a HEL along the way.

I wonder how many people took this seriously. Time to hose clamp a Maglite and barrow a PVS-2 from a friend. The bayonet and bipod combo would have been a giveaway.

Just to be a nerd: Marines bought off the shelf skateboards during Urban Warrior 99’. The purpose was to detect tripwires and traps by rolling the skateboard down hallways and corridors.

Wish people talked more about other things from Exercise Urban Warrior other than the skateboard or T-Block. The USMC’s HTTV (Helicopter Transportable Tactical Vehicle) is the closest thing we’ve got to Halo’s M12 Warthog.

Current progress on my 3D printed M829 model. Everything is printed out and just need to sand and smoothen everything. Also need to color match parts of the shell. Anyone got suggestions on paint?
