I don't say this lightly. This is bad. Please, vulnerable people beware. I love you. Keep your boundaries clear. I hope he gets help, but frankly, I'm in a position to mostly care about the vulnerable people first. Be weary. Our community has a lot of collective healing to do.

To be clear, because apparently I haven't been: I don't care about abusers' feelings. They feel sad now as a consequence of their past abuse. If they were never caught, they'd never feel any way over the abuse they inflicted. I only care about survivors.

And you know what. I have some gifts for you. And for all your friends who don’t really understand why I can’t be around you ever again. At all.

Here’s some conversations you had WITH YOURSELF after you attacked me on one account and then used your real name to “defend me” :

So remember if you’re friends with Allison Cola aka @/owlwithapen, formerly Adam-tron and @QueenElsaba, you’re enabling a predator and someone who abused the fuck out of me. Happy fucking birthday.

Y'all know we don't HAVE to have admitted abusers in our convention spaces, right? There's no rule saying we have to invite them, or pay for their plane tickets, or put them up and feed them, like we've been doing. We could just, like, hold a conversation and NOT invite them.

Maybe, just maybe--if I dare to dream-- we could give their absent seat at the table to some of the people they've admitted and been credibly accused of abusing, while we are at it. Restoring victims is the community's responsibility. The abuser is incapable.

The abusers can barely hold their own lives together. You'll die waiting for them to restore others. The abusers belong to our community, and so does their victims. They are all ours, and we need to take responsibility for them, and for the activities we've enabled in our spaces.
