Great talk by Ramón Alvarado on why computer simulations are not totally unlike telescopes! What we need is now a way to test and vet simulations, much like we did in the early days of the telescope.

Excited that my first postdoc paper with PennMindCORE is coming out! Big thanks to @upennedenlab for the support and a fantastic collaboration. And thanks to @adriennerwood for the laughter stimuli!

Mind-blown by Cassidy R. Sugimoto's talk today at the SCEW seminar! Unfortunately, the answer to all three questions is "no" and the pandemic only made things worse. So glad @akcayerol, Gareth Roberts, and I were able to host you.

New paper showing that reducing publication bias can increase the share of replications. Many thanks to @akcayerol, Paul Smaldino, Kevin J.S. Zollman, Remco Heesen, and non-Twitter people for help at different stages! doi.org/10.1016/j.shps…
