Science, Language, and Instruction: It was a great achievement for the Nigerian education system as FGN approved the use of mother tongues as the language of instruction in primary schools. With effective implementation, I am confident of a transformed science learning.

Language and Science are inseparable. Emerging science education demands robust use of language in the pedagogical process. There is now a paradigm shift in science learning. Translanguaging cannot be overemphasized.

A study by me and Mayowa Obadipe in 2019 reported that making Biology an optional subject at the secondary school level is not a good decision. The knowledge of biology applies to our everyday lives and environmental well-being. Everyone needs to know!#Curriculum #Biology #Nature
