Recent CS2 update added Simple Deform and Lattice Deform, so I decided to try bending a whole map. Obviously there needs to be enough loops in the geo to properly bend on the angle, which is why you see holes sometimes, but yeah. They bend. Surprised Italy did this well.

The lion doesn’t concern himself with the feelings that his 3d art is shit even though he’s done it a professional level for well over a decade

Here's a screenshot of the file used for the final HL2 box art. Seems that all of the Gordon promo material made use of XSI renders for reference material.

Its impossible. There’s way too many absolute banger episodes of X-Files to even remotely consider a favorite. But my gut really just leans into a weird season 7 one. “Je Souhaite” its about a genie and its legit hilarious.

I haven't actually watched Evangelion, but I've seen this scene of multidimensional fractal type angel creature Ramiel and had to try it in Cinema 4D.

as someone who bought HL1 in an actual box from a walmart in 1999– i kinda sorta agree. its not that the black mesa folks did valve one better, but just things change. you get older. black mesa retains a ton of what makes HL1 HL1 and improves what doesnt click for today.
