It was a great pleasure to work on this exciting topic! Please check out my new Review article on The origin and evolution of Wnt signalling! go.nature.com/3I3R887 #Review by Michaela Holzem, Michael Boutros & Thomas W. Holstein Thomas W Holstein Boutroslab

Incredible work by our collaborators Donnelly Centre finally out in nature! Please read and RT this important contribution to the TPD/TPS field and congrats to Juline Poirson, Mikko Taipale and the team! 🤗

It's a beautiful day at Niagara-on-the-Lake! 🌞 Donnelly Centre faculty, trainees and staff are at Queen's Landing Hotel for our annual retreat. #DonnellyRetreat2024 #UofT

Our latest paper is out! In collaboration with Anne Carpenter, PhD, we conducted a systematic high-content screen to understand the role of protein mislocalization in diverse human disorders. 1/ cell.com/cell/fulltext/…

A team led by researchers at University of Toronto and Broad Institute mapped the impact of #mutations on protein localization in the cell. They found that one in six disease-causing mutations led to #proteins ending up in the wrong location. Learn more 👉 uoft.me/Mislocalization

Very cool to be featured in 'Humans of RHSE'! RHSE_UofT Donnelly Centre Stephane Angers Read more about my postdoctoral work and beyond here: rhse.temertymedicine.utoronto.ca/news/humans-rh…

A team led by University of Toronto researchers has uncovered new targets that could be key to effectively treating #glioblastoma, a lethal type of brain #cancer. Glioblastoma is challenging to treat due to the resistance of its stem cells to therapy. Learn more 👉 uoft.me/Glioblastoma

🎉 Excited to share our latest work in StemCellReports! This marks the final chapter of my postdoc in the Angers Lab. cell.com/stem-cell-repo… 🧬✨ We show how individual Frizzled receptors regulate Wnt-β-catenin signaling kinetics in hPSCs, influencing mesoderm commitment🧵1/n
