As a kid I used to listen to BBC Woman's Hour in the car with my mum. Little did I know one day I’d be on it. The circumstances that lead to me becoming a campaigner are tragic, but in doing this I’m staying true to the person I was before trauma - a strong, outspoken woman 👊🏽
My daughter suffers from eco-anxiety - but protesting is her antidote to despair. I am so proud to say that she is an activist in her own right. In school, she can be difficult, but at protests, she is in her element. The activism space allows her voice to be heard
