Your Lafayette Commodores are headed to the North Half Championship!

Dr. Ray Morgigno, interim state superintendent of education; Rep. Nicole Boyd, Rep. Clay Deweese, and several MDE staffers enjoyed meeting with about 80 members of the State Superintendent’s Student Advisory Council Tuesday at the Mississippi Capitol. #MsEdu

Mississippi is blessed to have these students serving their schools and communities, and Oxford is blessed to have Nicole Akins Boyd and Representative Clay Deweese representing us in Jackson! Kate Riddle and I are honored to help lead this group and represent our peers on the MSBOE.

These students are amazing! I learned so much from them and loved hearing about their passion for leadership!! Mississippi education is lucky to have the SSAC, Nicole Akins Boyd, Representative Clay Deweese, and Charlie Frugé !!

Congratulations to our Lafayette Dance Team on a very successful run at regionals this weekend. The team won 1st place in the JV Jazz Division, 2nd place in the JV Game Day Division, and received a special award for Overall Crowd Appeal.
