Silence is one thing, active support is something else. What we’re seeing in England and elsewhere - by people who speak endlessly of human rights - is active support for a massacre in Gaza. No one is turning away, pretending not to see. Chilling.

This is what we mean when we say we cannot depoliticise settlers as neutral civilians. The settler is part & parcel of the genocidal settler-colonial state apparatus. They are 1. Armed by the state 2. Trained by the state, 3. Protected by the state 4. Protecting the state

People should realize the Israelis aren’t actually trying to prove they didn’t bomb the hospital. Their goal is creating a distracting, frustrating public debate. They’ve made the focal point (them bombing a hospital) *secondary* to a mere side point (them denying they did it).

This line. This is one of the most haunting lines I’ve ever read. In 15-20 years people will remember this line and will have to confront the reality that they stood by while the world rained death and destruction upon Gaza.
