Sometimes the radical simplicity of the Gospel makes it really foolish to the onlooker.

Sometimes, you'd go up to her, trying to get her approval or attention. But she was chronically stressed, dissociated, and couldn't be there in the way you needed her.

The good news is: you can be the mother you never had. You can support yourself, take your needs seriously, and be who you needed.

Your mother had her own trauma, issues, and her emotional absence had nothing to do with you.

They should invent reverse trauma. Like an event that’s so positive it changes you for the better.

As for me , I am counting on God to save me. He is not a mystery , I know him by his name ! By his deeds and by his love. Yahweh! The name that is above every other name and whosoever calls upon him shall be saved. Precious deliverer.
