Remember in 98 when Lauryn Hill wrote this amazing, empowering hip hop bop for Momma #ArethaFranklin, and then had a star studded super meaningful late 90s vibe video to support her album? Yeah, never forgot.

I understand Robert Glasper being very upset with Lauryn Hill over her lack of artistic integrity in regards to "Miseducation". We all remember Lauryn being sued (and losing) for not crediting musicians correctly back in '01. But something about this feels rooted in misogyny.

Swear to Music Jesus. Missy Elliott's Supa Dupa Fly gets played monthly in my household. Weekly. I just played Sock It To Me and aggressively rapped every word in Shawntae Harris's verse. This album is so important.
