When I send out a rehearsal schedule and a student actually responds with a “Thank you!”

I don’t oppose asking questions. I just don’t care for being asked a rash, dumb question. Think about it before asking me. I probably just told and showed you the answer in the last 2min. #dancetchrproblems

You pay for DANCE LESSONS not for the hrs we take to stone costumes or create headpieces, you don’t pay us for a wknd away from our fam while at comp. Instead of complaining you should humbly say thank you to your SO & teachers for the extras they do just to see YOUR kid shine.

When you get into rehearsal and your dancers actually remember what you taught them last week - with no need to correct counts, arms, directions, etc. - and you can move immediately to new choreo #WishThisWasEveryRehearsal

An important note as we enter competition season: IF YOU LIKE YOUR DANCES, KEEP LIKING YOUR DANCES, AND KEEP WORKING HARD REGARDLESS OF HOW THEY PLACE.

When a parent pops their head in to yell at their kid to listen.... Hi. I’m their teacher. They’re six years old. I’m ignoring them on purpose. Your interruption is a worse distraction than them staring at themselves in the mirror. Thx.

Why’s everyone seeming to hate on “no tights” at competition? No tights happens in the professional modern world, but why are people so against training their dancers for it? Is this all in my head? (PS I am pro-tights for ballet)
