I sincerely ask anyone.. why are the Chiefs the only team that can’t survive with 4 good to great OL + one JAG OL? Why do they NEED to spend another elite resource for OL 4/5? Wanna say they need RT competition/depth/of the future in the mid rounds? Absolutely.

It's no wonder why people put more blame at Mahomes' feet for the offense's short comings.. Seeing the way people are gassing up Isiah Pacheco in Detroit. There's a complete disconnect between perception and reality of what he was working with for the las 2 years...

Patrick winning those 2 Super Bowls with no WR/RB weapons was a double edged sword. It’s given the vast majority of this fanbase a baseline stance of “Mahomes doesn’t need weapons” to succeed. Instead of giving Mahomes his own force multipliers at RB, TE, and WR, they’ve just

I’m not worrying about how Arvell Reese or David Bailey fit in Spags system because if the Chiefs use a top ten pick on a player, the DC’s job isn’t going to survive refusing to play them

I think this is the biggest casual vs detailed disconnect amongst Chiefs fans… Patrick Mahomes had to “run for his life” and carry the ball a career high amount because defenses didn’t respect the run game and were defending pass game concepts easily. He had time, no one was

Patrick Mahomes last year was scrambling because noone was open in the structure of Andy Reid’s offense far more often than because the OL allowed quick pressure

Trading up to #3 or #4 would be a disaster for the Chiefs. Don’t care who the player is. It cost the Jags: 2 firsts, a second and a fourth to move up from 5 to 2…. Even at a discount it would take multiple firsts. Gross.

The Chiefs traded up in the top ten and left the top ten without having a pass rush to help Chris Jones nor a consistent Pass catcher for Patrick Mahomes...absolute disaster by Brett Veach, Andy Reid, and Steve Spagnuolo

So I think Mansoor Delane and Nohl Williams are going to make a great CB duo. The problem with the process is never paying CBs actual $ while paying heavily in draft comp to fill holes the team creates To trade up for both Delane/Williams KC used picks 95 (2025) 9 74 125 148

kc is funny bc every offseason is just overcorrection at one spot or side of the ball instead of even resource distribution, then the next offseason they have to overhaul the spots they neglected (sometimes by trading good players bc they need extra resources to fill the spots)

He’s proven to have won with both, but investing in the offense has yielded both a higher ceiling, more consistent results, and more stability than the opposite has and that’s just by nature of the league offensive success is more stable than defensive success YoY.
