Hosted by @AutismSocietyAB the Connecting Communities event was a two day gathering on autism in Alberta. I co-lead day 2 and we focussed was on Indigenous Autism and we centred Indigenous voices. Overall it was a day filled with relational knowledge exchange and connection.

27% of Canadians identify as having a #disability of some kind, and those who are disabled are twice as likely to be in #housing need, and 4x as likely to become #homeless. We're proud to have contributed to some of this important work with Office of the Federal Housing Advocate and Human Rights Canada.
