sometimes you’ve gotta lay on your bed, stare at the ceiling and talk to GOD about everything in life that feels heavy and tell him that you trust HIM even though nothing makes sense right now.

My therapist once said: If you isolate yourself when you’re overwhelmed, you probably learned early on that no one was coming to help you. So you stopped asking and started handling everything alone. Now even when support is there, your first instinct is still to disappear.
