Yes very important to discuss the Director's vision beforehand. After shooting they sit with you and you work on the cut together and bounce ideas off each other, which is an experience I really enjoy. Olly bought me a lot of coffee, which is the way to an editor’s heart #AskAmy

We rarely go on set, there isn't the time! People ask if I get to meet the actors but most of the time we usually don’t cross paths. When they do pop into the cutting room they always seem much smaller in real life because I’m used to seeing their faces on a 55" screen! #AskAmy
